Warren County is located in the Northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia an area regarded fertile land and scenic beauty. The county is bounded by Frederick and Clarke Counties on the north, Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties on the east, Page County to the south, and Shenandoah County to the west. The county has a population of approximately 36,000 individuals.
Warren County has a total land area of 219 square miles of which 209.9 miles is considered rural while the remaining 9.1 square miles is occupied by the town of Front Royal. The county is home to over 380 farms, with 47,635 acres dedicated to agriculture of which 6,247.79 acres are under agricultural easements.
